FREE AMBULANCE ART UNION
PROFIT OF £14,242 ANNOUNCED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Profits from the recently drawn Free Ambulance art union amounted to £14,242 2s fid, according to an audited statement submitted to the board to-day. On behalf of the board Mr. C. J. B. Norwood, chairman of the committee in charge of the art union, complimented the board upon the success and said that the profits shown brought the board within striking distance of the goal. It only remained for a settlement to be arrived at as to the site of the new building.
