DOCTORS’ COMPLAINT
\ “NOT LAST WORD IN DIAGNOSIS.” (By Wire —Special to News.) Auckland, Last Night. Reference to people who insisted on being X-rayed without any special benefit to themselves was made by a doctor at a con? ference of medical men in Auckland. “They come for repeated examination week after week and think it is the right thing to do,” said the doctor. “So keen are they on being done that anyone would think they were ‘life members’ of the Xray department.” 'We would like to think that X-rpy is the last word in diagnosis,” said another doctor, “but we know it is not. Many people are inclined to trust too much tp X-ray when if the doctor only used his experience better results might be obtained.”
