The following figures showed what the result had been; — 1924. —Revenue, £24,073; expenditure, £1d,637; profit, £7434. 1926.—Revenue, £45,454; expenditure. £31,238; profit, ' £14,216. 1929.—Revenue, £53,938; expenditure, £50,719; profit, £3264. 1930—Revenue, £53,532; expenditure, £53,151; profit, ’£3Bl. “I leave you to imagine,” Mr. Allen added, “what the result will be in 1931.”
