bowling season opens. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The formal opening of the Inglewood Bowling Club’s greens was held yesterday afternoon, when, ’ drispite 1 light showers, there was an excellent attendance of members and also members of other clubs. Mr. R. Darlow (president) in a short speech declared the green open, after which a president versus vice-president match was played the vice-president’s (Mr. R. J. Frewin) rinks winnig by 28 points. A dainty afternoon tea was served by the ladies and was greatly appreciated. The following' are the detailed scores! — P. V.P.
