RUN OVER BY TWO CARS
CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES FAIL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. In the case in which Mark Davin, a ifvatersider, claimed £319 damage from Sydney Charles Brown, engineer, the [Jury found that defendant was not negligent, and judgment was entered for defendant, with costs Davin proceeded against Charles J? town, an engineer, and Walter Neville Norwood, a clerk, alleging that when grossing Customhouse Quay at Hight in January, 1929, he had been struck down ft>y Brown’s car and then some moments later run over by Norwood’s car as he lay in the road. His thigh was broken, p.nd he was for some time in hospital. JAllegi ng negligence and excessive speed On the part of both defendants, he planned special and general damages totalling £319 3s. I Davin was non-suited yesterday in his jjlaim against .Norwood.
