MATAU NEWS. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The Matau low-level bridges were' flooded by the recent rain. The Waitara . bridge was flooded to a depth of 12 feet, and all traffic was stopped. ; A number of paddock sales have taken tolace this* last fortnight, mostly. of pattie, good prices being realised. ■ Mrs. H.
