ALLEGATION OF SLANDER
CLAIM IN ROTORUA COURT. y By Telegraph.—Press Association. Rotorua, Last Night. At the Magistrate’s Court to-day Mrs. Colin David Smith, Kawaha Point, Rotorua, claimed from Thomas Henry Hulton £3OO damages for alleged false and malicious statements. Counsel -for the plaintiff asked the court to be cleared, which was refused. The evidence was unpublishable and of an intimate domestic character. A great number of witnesses are being called and the case is proceeding.
