PRINCE TAKES HOLIDAY

The Prince of Wales lias arranged a complete private holiday and has declined any public engagements until the end of September, feeling he needs a rest after the. strenuous life he has been forced to lead throughout the year. Since his return from Africa in April the Prince has had the busiest time. Ho has visited Scotland, Wales and many parts of England. He made an exhaustive tom* of the Duchy of' Cornwall last week, taking Brussels and Antwerp in his course, and scores of engagements have been carried out as well as an exacting programme of speech-making at the opening of institutions.
