BEACON TO SPREAD NEWS
INTERESTING EVENT EXPECTED. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Rec. 7.30 p.m. London, Aug. 9. A beacon 35 feet high will be lit around the base of a giant pine near Glamis Castle when an interesting event takes place in the household of the Duke and Duchess of York. The blaze will be the signal for the kindling of a chain of beacons from Airlie to Forfar which will be visible for hundreds of m.les.
