AIRSHIP R100 ARRIVES

G 6 HOURS ON THE JOURNEY DELAYED BY FABRIC FAULT STORM IN LAST 200 -MILES By TelegTaph--Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 11.10 p.m. Vancouver, Aug. 1. The British airship RlOO has crossed the Atlantic. It moored safely at tho St. Hubert field at 4.20 a.m. to-day, having been about GO hours on the journey from Cardington. Fabric trouble necessitated a reduction of speed. According to wireless received on Thursday afternoon the ship was in the vicinity of Quebec City at 3 o’clock.

The RlOO wirelessed that it had comi jted temporary repairs at 4.50 p.m. to the damaged fin, and was making 20 knots. It expected to arrive at 11 p.m. The airship was practically at a standstill in the vicinity of Quebec for gome hours. . . On Thursday evening, following the course of the St. Lawrence, it encountered a strong head wind. The airship circled Quebec on its way. Throughout the day it has made excellent progress, despite assorted weather, including a thick fog.
