COLLISION WITH WHARF
STEAMER’S ENGINES FAIL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. When the steamer Ngaio was berthing to-day the engines failed to respond to the order to reverse and the vessel drove into the Queen’s wharf. The vessel cut about three feet into the woodwork down to the water’s edge.
