DOMINION UNEMPLOYMENT
FIGURES FOR LAST WEEK. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, June 19. According to the statement of the Minister of Labour (the Hon. S. G. Smith) to-day, 5263 unemployed were registered in the Dominion for the week ended June 16, 2766 with dependants,-, and 2497 without. , The total shows an increase of 196 over the previous week. The figures are: Auckland, With dependants 772, without, 711'; Wellington, 339 and 364; Christchurch, 520 and 399; Dunedin, 156 and 120; Invercargill, 90 and 50.
