MAUI POMARE LAID UP
TOFUA VISITING NICE ISLAND. / By Tele-ffraph.— Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. When the Tofua leaves on Saturday on her monthly island tour she will include Niue in her ports of call. The Maui Pomare, which recently took up the Niue run, is laid up in Wellington with engine trouble, and it is believed that repairs will not be completed for Another six weeks. The Tofua therefore is to take passengers and cargo to Niue. These in the ordinary course of events .would have gone by tne Maui Pomare. The Tofua will not bring any fruit back from Niue on the return journey, but it is expected that she will bring passengers.
