GERMAN TEAM TO COMPETE
HORSE SHOW AT OLYMPIA. ' British Official. Wireless. Rec. 5.5 p.m. " Rugby, May 6. For the first time since before the war a team of officers from the crack cavalry regiments of the German army will ride in the international horse show at Olympia next month iif competition with Great Britain, France and Belgium. Four officers from the German army will compete for King George’s Cup and the Prince of ■ Wales Cup, two of the most important trophies of the show.
While British troops were in occupation of the Rhineland invitations to compete in international events of this kind were refused by Germany. The decision to send & team t» the horse show which opens at Olympia on June 19 indicates a return to normal relations between the .military forces .of the Allies and Germany.
