SCUFFLE AT WHITEHALL

POLICE GIVE SHORT SHRIFT By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. London, May 6. After failure to interview Mr. MacDonald, a body, of hunger-marchers assembled late this afternoon at the members’ entrance to the House of Commons, escorted by a large body of mounted and foot police. While those in the courtyard sang tlie ‘‘Red Flag . 20 of the leaders entered the House for the alleged purpose of interviewing their members. ■ ' . , While the conversations - and interviews were ■ proceeding about a dozen: men raised a sudden shout and rushed down the central hall to the inner lobby. The police stopped the rush and, after a few minutes’ scuffle, the party was ignominiously run out of the building, the police holding them by the- scruff of their necks. Kight were arrested. Another party outwitted the police at' Whitehall and managed to get into the Minister of Health,. where they locked themselves in a room, shouting and creating a disturbance until the police •broke in and.ejected them after a short struggle.
