COULD NOT SELL KISSES
GLASGOW CURL STUDENTS’ SHOP. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. London, Jan. 16. Glasgow girl students, who are accused of being ugly in face and form, opened a kiss shop in the city on behalf of charity. They announced that kisses would be sold for sixpence. A large crowd assembled in front of the shop, but there was no sign of a purchaser, until a newspaper man decided to risk the adventure. He pushed his way in, paid his sixpence and selected his girl, who handed over a card on which there was printed a cross. The shop went into liquidation in the afternoon.
