SARRON KNOCKS OUT GRIME
THE AUSTRALIAN DISAPPOINTING
By Telegraph.—Press Association.
Auckland, Last Night.
A featherweight boxing contest was held at the Town Hall to-night between Pete Sarron (America) 8.13, and Billy Grime (Australia) 9.1 J. It resulted in a win for Sarron on a knock-out in the thirteenth round.
Grime’s display was disappointing throughout and he landed only four good punches during the contest. Sarron fought hard from start to finish, landing quick, clean punches and displaying fine footwork. There was a packed house.
