Rec. 11.30 p.m. Melbourne, Dec. 27. Rain caused a stoppage of the Sheffield Shield cricket match at 5.10 p.m. Stumps were drawn half an hour later without a resumption of play. New South Wales, in the first innings, in reply to Victoria’s score of 229, have reached 358 for the loss of seven wickets. Bradman made 89, Kippax 80, Marks 68, McCabe 70, and Allsop 26. At Adelaide there was no cricket today owing to. rain.
