CHRISTCHURCH YOUTHS CHARGED By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, December 18. In the Magistrate’s Court James Wilfred Gray. 19, and Charles Robert Gray, 17, were jointly charged with breaking and entering a shop in Manchester Street with intent to commit a crime. Charles Robert Gray was further charged with being found 'with a .44 calibre rifle in his possession with intent to commit a crime. The police stated that accused were caught on the premises mentioned about 2 o’clock this morning. They were in possession of masks, and one had a rifle, the barrel of which had been sawn off short. Accused were remanded to January 7. Bail was not applied for.
