Aliss Al. Bourkc is the guest of Miss N. Campbell,
Aliss G. Rawson, who has been staying with Airs. Hardwick-Smith, has returned to Auckland,
Aliss D. Baker spent last wek-end ; n Eltham, being the guest of Mrs. AV. Wilson.
Airs. J. Quinn was hostess at an afternoon for Airs. St. L. Reeves. Those present were: Airs. Weir, Mrs. Syme, Airs. E. E. Carter, Airs. Saunders, Airs. Wylds, Airs. A. Best, Airs. Forbes, Airs. J. Best, Airs, R. Alorris, Airs. A. A. Stewart and Miss Belcher. Several competitions were held, tho winners being Airs. Weir and Mos. R. Alorris.
Airs. P. De Launey, Auckland, who has been staying with Airs. Do Launey, Mountain Road, has returned home.
Owing to inclement weather the opening of the Eltham Croquet Club has been postponed till after Christmas.
Aliss Margaret Kilbride, who has been nursing in Australia for tho past two and a half years, is returning to New Zealand on tho Ulimaroa, due in Wellington on Tuesday, and will stay with her mother, Airs. Kilbride, of Eltham, over the holidays.-
