RELATIONS WITH AFGHANS
SELECTION OF MINISTERS. British Wireless. Rugby, Nov. 20. It is officially announced that Wali Khan, brother of Nadir Khan, King of Afghanistan, has been appointed Afghan Minister in London, and is expected to arrive in England shortly. Mr. A. Henderson, Foreign Secretary, stated in the House of Commons that he hoped to announce the name of the new British Minister to Afghanistan before long. Owing, however, to the necessity of extensive repairs to the British Legation building at Kabul, which cannot be carried out during the winter, it might not be possible for his Majesty’s representative actually to proceed to Kabul for some time
