AMBULANCE WORK
NEW PLYMOUTH BRANCH. A meeting of . the St. John Ambulance Brigade was held on Tuesday evening. Practices will be held each Tuesday night instead of fortnightly as hitherto. It was reported that members had attended .all football matches and race meetings in New Plymouth during the season, and as a further evidence of the popularity of the brigade members had been on duty at matches as far away as Eltljam.. In all 400 cases had been attended. .' ' ■ . ' Members will meet some Saturday in the near future for field practice and Dr. Brown will examine the brigade. General satisfaction was expressed with the way in which all members had worked during the season. A sub-committee consisting of Messrs. Ej Davidson, G. Cathie and R. Wall was appointed to- work in conjunction with the superintendent and secretary.
