AUSTRALIAN WOOL MILLS
GREAT VICTORIAN SCHEME,

A proposal to establish large woollen mills at Bruthen, Victoria, is receiving the attention of a Bradford delegation, which inspected Snowy River, Gippsland, as a possible source of hydro-elec-tric power. If the Victorian Government gives permission to harness this stream at least 30,000 would receive employment and it is claimed the mills could deal with every bale of wool produced in Australia.
