He -was able to sit up yesterday for tho first time since his operation and is sitting up again to-day. A bulletin stated: “During the week since the operation the King has steadily progressed. The purulent discharge from the abscess cavity lias ceased.” The doctors spent an hour with Hia Majesty. It is not expected the healing will bo of long duration and, with the King’s general health good, it is hoped that his departure for .Sandringham will not bo long delayed.
