HAWERA CLUB COMPANIES.
Competition for the club buttons took place at tho Hawera Miniature Rifle Club’s range on Friday night, with the following results: — . Men’s A Button.—G. Harding 48, T.
Hotter 47, L. Uttinger 46, E. Uttinger 46, P. Petersen 49. Ladies’ A Button. —Miss E. Rae 50, Mrs. F. Rae 46. Men’s B Button. —A. Thrush 47, J. Tapp 45, G. Gibson 42, C. Dingle 42, A. Booth 40. The teams series competition will be for a cup and four miniature cups to be fired for each year. The winning team will hold the cup for one year, but the miniatures become the property of the members of the team. Following is a list of the teams, the captains of each being mentioned first: —No. 1 team: A. Elgar, Miss E. Rae, J. Tapp, A. Thrush. No. 2: E. Booth, Mrs. Rae, R. Allan, E. Spavin. No. 3: G. Harding, Miss T. Ingram, J. Vinten, A. Wilson. No. 4: T. Hotter, Miss J. Rae, J. Velvin, Mrs. Veitch. No. 5: L. Uttinger, Miss K. Petersen, E. Uttinger, C. Mickelsen. No. 6: L. Sharrock and three other members of the Hawera Electric Light Co. (names not yet submitted).
