All) FOR MATERNITY HOME. London, Oct. 4. Mr. W. 11. Morris, motor manufactur er, looking pale and thin after his re eent operation, for appendicitis, attended a meeting of the Redcliffe infirmary at Oxford. There he offered a further sum of £40,000 for the new maternity home, to which he gave a similar amount on August 8 on condition thatf the public raised £BO,OOO, Mr. Morris’ gifts to charity now total £160,000. They include a large gift to St., George’s Hospital, Hide Park Corner, in 1927.
