Dickie, the managing director, expressed the high appreciation of the services that Mr. Court had rendered to the company during the period that he had been employed in their services. It was through his energetic efforts that the system of home separation had been developed in Taranaki, a system which was now universally adopted by all dairy companies, and which had proved such a b‘.»on to dairy farmers. The speaker expressed regret that Mr. Court was leaving their employ. He, however, took the opportunity of congratulating him on his welldeserved promotion and held every confidence that Mr. Court would fill his new position with credit to himself and satisfaction to his new employers. Mr. Grant, the factory manager, on behalf of the staff, made complimentary reference to the good fellowship that had always existed between Mr. Court and other members of the staff. Mr. Court suitably responded, and
stated that-he also felt keenly severing his connection, as during his six years’ connection with the company it had always been a . pleasure to him to work with members of the staff, who always took a keen and intelligent interest in their work, having for their object the advancement of the company. Mr. Court has joined the mercantile staff of the Farmers’ Co-operative Organisation.
