PALMERSTON SCHOOLS VISITED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston N., May 31. The Minister of Education continued his tour of inspection of local schools this morning. A deputation from the new railway settlement at Milson suburb asked for a school on a railway grant of 5J acres and received favourable consideration. A deputation from the College Street school asked for a new school building, the present one being in a state of disrepair. The Minister stated that there was no possibility of the main school being rebuilt this year, but the erection of an infant department on property nearby would receive consideration and might be possible. The Terrace End school asked for two rooms to relieve congestion. The matter is to be considered.
