EGMONT NATIONAL PARK
THE COST OF DEVELOPMENT HELP FROM LOCAL BODIES. CONTRIBUTIONS RECOMMENDER Members of the executive of the Eg. mont National Park Board, with th* chairman (Mr. T. C. List) and Mr. T. B. Crump as spokesmen, waited upon th* conference of the Taranaki Local Bodies’ Assomation at Eltham yesterday, and asked the local body representatives to consider granting the same contributions towards the maintenance and development of the park as in the previous year, the contributions being on a capital valuation basis. After a number of questions had been asked and answered, the conference unanimously supported the deputation’s request.
