MINE MANAGER KILLED
TRAGEDY NEAR BLENHEIM. By Telegraph.—Press Associates. Blenheim, Last Night. A telephone communication received at Blenheim this afternoon from Deep Creek reported the death of Mr. T. A. Harrison, mine manager, as the result of a fall of rock in the Golden Bar mine. Particulars of the fatality are not yet to hand. Mr. Harrison, who about about 40 years of age, had occupied the position of mine manager at Golden Bar for several years, and was well known in Blenheim, which he frequently visited. He was a married man and was a graduate of the Thames School of Mines. A few years ago he visited Canada on behalf of a local syndicate.
