LINKING THE EMPIRE
DEVELOPMENT OF RADIO VALUE OF BROADCASTING t DIRECT TOUCH WITH HOME By Telegraph—Press Asen. —Copyright. London, Oct. 31. Sir - Arthur Stanley and Professdr Low are circularising members of the House of Commons suggesting that the British Broadcasting Company’s accumulated fund of £900.600 should be spent on the development of Imperial broadcasting. Professor Low, interviewed, said: “We do not suggest the constitution of an Imperial Parliament with members for the Dominions, participating in the debates by means of loud speakers, though that may come, but urge the immediate investigation of means enabling the Dominion Prime Ministers to speak direct to London, and generally'linking up the overseas activities, so that crystal set users can hear the wheels of Empire revolving.”
