COUNTRY ASSOCIATION. BELL BLOCK HAS A WTN. Bell Block defeated Egmont Village by 45 runs in a cricket match played on Saturday. Both teams were short of men, and only one innings each was played. The only batsman to reach double figures for Egmont Village was N. Gibson, who compiled 30 not out. L. Giddy and R. Sampson, not out, each made 21 for Bell Bloek. K. Parkin and A. Giddy each made 15, and G. Giddy put up the next best score of 14. G. Giddy secured the best bowling average for Egmont Village, and Powell, N. Gibson and Crush shared the honours for Bell Block. JUNIOR GRADE MATCH. NORTHERN DIVISION. A victory by 20 runs was gained by Technical College over Waitara In a two innings match played at Waitara on Saturday. In their first innings Waitara made 48 runs (Taylor 18, Jones 11). Hughes took three wickets for 12 runs, and McKeon seven for 17. In their second innings they were dismissed for 15, Hughes taking six wickets for 15 runs and McKeon four for 0. Technical College, in their first strike, made 34 (McKeon 12). Taylor took four wickets for 12 runs, Hawkins four for 8, and Jones two for 9. In their second innings College made 49 (Hughes 17). J. Taylor took five wickets and I. Taylor three wickets. KARACHI v.
