RIFLE SHOOTING.
SHORT RANGE RESULTS. The first series of the New Plymouth Rifle Club’s short range aggregate was commenced on Saturday. A dense mist and a fresh wind made matters rather unpleasant and the attendance was not up to expectations. The scores were:—
Of the Thursday competitors only one completed his score, which is null owing to the others having to abandon the competition. The second stage of the competition will be fired on Thursday and Saturday afternoons.
