INCOME-TAX RETURNS.
BUTCHER FINED £2OO. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Sept. 26. For furnishing false income tax returns for 1920, 1921, 1922 and 1923 a butcher named William Joseph Wolland wag fined £2<X). Fines were also imposed on several who failed to send in returns. Counsel for the department said H was the intention to make people send in returns.
