TRACKLESS TRAMS SUCCESSFUL. By TeleßMnY. —Press Association. Wellington, Sept. 26. The City Council tried out its experimental trackless car with great success. The cost of the car was £2500, against £4OOO for the ordinary combination car, and the overhead equipment necessary cost approximately £750. against £13,000 for a double track.
