BREACH OF PROMISE.
“ACTED ON AN IMPULSE.” By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. At rhe Supreme Court to-day, Gertrude Fleet wood was awarded £l5O damages against J. K. 'Lowe, an engineer on the railways at Auckland, for a breach of promise. Defendant, in evidence, admitted entering an engagement, but said he very soon realised that he had acted on an impulse and he wanted plaintiff to take the initiative in breaking it off.
