PROSPERITY IN GERMANY.
AUSTRALIAN SCOUTS’ VISIT. London, Sept, 2. Half Dresden turned out and warmly welcomed and feted the New South Wales Boy Scouts, who were impressed by the geniality of the Saxons, as contrasted with the reserved nature of the Prussians. The Boy Scouts were amazed at the absence of signa of distress of Germany. All the people were sleek and welldressed, and business is thriving. Motor cars are plentiful, and the cafes, which certain excellent orchestras, are crowded.
