GORGEOUS WINTER COLOURS. THE LATEST IN STOCKINGS. London, Sept, 2 The London fashion fair ' indicates that winter .fashions will be notable for their gorgeous colourings. Furs, variety of bead and other ornamentation have all been used to produce an effect rivalling the appearanc of the pepzock, or the most decorative beauty of a harem. Figured velvets of the richest hues are the craze for evening frocks, one of which was covered with 1,000,000 beads. Two of the newest stockings ar® called “sunburn” and “nude” the former being slightly more pink than fleshcolour, and the latter being exactly the same as the skin in. hue. Skirts will be shorter, both for day and evening wear.
