THE INDRABARAH.
AN ABORTIVE ATTEMPT. STILL HOPES OF FLOTATION. Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The tug Terawbiti returned this morning from the stranded steamer Indrabarah. It is reported that though Friday's attempt to pull the liner off was abortive, the hope is still held out that the vessel may be refloated. As the cargo is jettisoned the ship's tanks are being filled to prevent her working further inshore. Then, when the next attempt is made to pull her off, the tanks can be pumped out and the draught lightened. Beyond that, those on the Terawbiti are not very communicative.
