A fresh fire has destroyed a thousand houses in the Jews' quarter. The fire is now checked. FIFTY THOUSAND HOMELESS. Received 26, 9.5 p.m. Constantinople, July 26. The fire rendered fifty thousand homeleas. Sixteen mosques were destroyed.
