LADIES' HOCKEY.

A ve.ry enthusiastic meeting of lady hockey players was held at Hallenstein Bros.' rooms last-evening, with the object of re-forming ladies'.hockey clubs. Sufficient names were handed in to form three clubs, with several promises of more players. In all probability several teams from the country will enter for the competitions. It is proposed to hold the first practice for all players on Saturday, April 12th J at the Botanical Reserve at 3 o'clock. Hallenstein Bros, and "Mr H. Savage donated a trophy each.
