Octohre sth. ' A very enjoyable gathering was. held at the Happy Valley schoolroom on September 27th, to bid farewell to Miss Snook, who has filled the position of school teacher^and postmistress. Mr R. C. Withers presided. Songs and musical items were given by several ladies and gentlemen, and there wore items by -he children. Flower recently, when Miss Snook was entertained at a kitchen afternoon by members of the Ladies' Sewing' Guild. Occasion was taken to recognise the good work done by Mrs Srook (who is also letting).
