' - > ■ ■«, ( October 3rd. A farewell social was tendered by. the Young Indies' Presbyterian Bible Class to Messrs J.-Evans und R. A. Inwood, prior to . their leaving for camp. Mr J. Allan, on.behalf of the classj presented, each reservist with a.handsome fountain pen, and the recipients suitably acknowledged the gifts. The following contributed jtema wjiich added to Ali« success «f 'the( evening :-^-The >'Miss«*s Taylor, ; "Messrs!" <:Berry,' Johnatone, Thompson, Piko, Benzies, and Harvey. The Young Ladies' Bible Class are 16 be congratulated on their action in reviving a custom which has. lain dormant for some considerable time. It is hoped that in future this practice will receive the attention of the residents.
