LOYAL NELSON LODGE.
-~,,. October 3rd. At t!v> fortnightly meeting of tho Loyal ISelson Lodge, M.U., 1.0.0. F., last night reference was made to the loss the lodge was sustaining by the departure of P.P.G.M. Bro. W. H. Prebble for the Murchison district where he has farming interests. The £ r°v. G.M., Bro. A. Cross, in eulogising Bro. Prebble's. servicesi to tho lodgp and. Order, particularly, referred to his connection -with the juvenile branch, and •stated that it was the intention of the lodge, as a mark of appreciation and esteem, to present him vith a framed S Past Prov. Grand Master's certificate. Tributes were also paid to the dopaitinf pother lw^M:3kp, -A. G. bte^ art and P.C.S. Bro. Shrimpton, on I>e-1-alf of the district; P.P.G.M. Bro W. Liddlej on behalf of the Howard Lodge • and by officers of the Nelson Lodge, all of whom wished Bro. Prebble every success in his new venture. Bro. Prebble thanked the lodge for their present and| the speakers for their kindly rem:i-.Ks, and sail his association wich Odafellowslup had always given him a &raat deal of pleasure. He promised, when op portumtv occurred, to visit the lod^a nt Murchison, and assured them that ho would do anything in his power to advance the interests of the Order.
