The coroner (Mr J. R. Bartholomew, ] S.M.) resumed the inquest at Dunudin , on the body of a- male infant which was found in a suit-case deposited in a chemist's shop in Stuart street on September 22nd, and in connection with which a young woman named Mary Beatrice Maud Walker stands charged ■; with murder. Mary Walker was pre- i sent in charge of the police matron.
