The- final figures in' connection with the liquor referendum are as follows: —

For six o'clock closing: 347,494. Seven o'clock: 4830.' Eight o'clock: 21,134. Nine o'clock: 178,842. ■ ' Ton o'clock: 1445. Eleven o'clock: 3193. The men voters outnumbered the women by 36,116. The absolute majority required to give effect to any hour was 278,450, six o'clock closing being carried with a surplus of nearly 70,000.
