CONSCRIPTION MOVEMENT IN CANADA.
Ottawa, April 14
A strong conscription movement' has beon started. Sir Robert Borden, answering a deputation; declared that the Government was not ready-v to adopt the New Zealand registration system, but would consider the matter. Canada had already raised-300,000 men, and recruits were now coming forward at the rate of more than 1000 daily.
