Mr T. A. H. Field, M.P., wrote enclosing a letter from the Prime Minister re school site in Collingwood street. Mr Massey's letter notified that a notic© had been published in the Gazette changing the purpose of the cemetery reserve in Coliingwood street to a public school cite. The chairman said that when they obtained leave from tho Minister for - Internal Affairs, the committee would a«k the Council te give the necessary pints in the new cemetery for the reinterment of the bodies.
