The Minister said ho had had no reply yet from General Gcdkj to his invitation to recommend 4jf .or six i&turned men for commission* in the ReinforcemcH'.t.s It would be unfair to recommend returned men who happened to be in New Zealand without considering those in Egypt and England. The matter was one for General Godley to decide.
