Dunedin, June 1. While loading sacks on to a lorry ai» Dalgoty and" Co.'s .store this afternoon, John McCarthy, a married man, aged about 40, living at Burns street, Caversham, slipped and fell, his head striking the concrete floor. The side of his head was severely cut. He was at once taken to the Hospital, where he died shortly after admission. McCarthy met with the accident on the second day of his employment with Dalgety and Co.
